Cara's Bio
Hi, I’m Cara, an English teacher from South Africa. I currently live in the popular city of Cape Town.
I am very passionate about traveling and have spent most of my life volunteering and working in various parts of the world. I have been to about 40 countries. Recently, I spent two years living and teaching English in Japan. I absolutely loved it in Japan and it has been my favourite country to experience so far. I also love the food in Japan.
I have a lot of experience teaching children as I am a qualified primary school teacher, but I also enjoy teaching and conversing with adults.
I think confidence is very important when it comes to learning and speaking a new language and I try to provide a comfortable and relaxed environment when it comes to my lessons. I have learnt how valuable English is when traveling abroad and I can therefore offer many opportunities to practice English for travel purposes.

私は旅行にとても情熱を持っており、人生のほとんどをボランティア活動や世界各地での仕事に費やしてきました。 私は約40か国に行ったことがあります。 最近、私は日本に2年間住んで英語を教えていました。 私は日本が大好きで、これまで経験した中で一番好きな国です。 日本の食べ物も大好きです。
私は小学校教師の資格を持っているので、子供たちを教えた経験が豊富ですが、大人を教えることや会話することも好きです。
新しい言語を学んだり話したりする際には自信が非常に重要だと考えており、レッスンでは快適でリラックスした環境を提供するよう努めています。 海外旅行で英語がいかに貴重であるかを知ったので、旅行のために英語を練習する機会をたくさん提供できます。
